The San Joaquin River Poetry Project is a year-long community project facilitated by Fresno Poet Laureate Aideed Medina that combines guided nature walks, poetry, and conversations to get to know the San Joaquin River. Through the Indigenous poetry practice of Flor y Canto, participants will be able to create poems and share them communally, emphasizing both creation and connection.
