Judging by the Cover: A Bookstore, in partnership with Maarte.Studios, is proud to welcome acclaimed Mexican-American author Reyna Grande to Fresno as part of her California independent bookstore tour celebrating the release of her latest memoir, Migrant Heart.

During her Fresno appearance, Grande will be joined in conversation by local author Bonnie Hearn Hill. Together, they will discuss Migrant Heart, their respective writing processes, and the importance of elevating stories that illuminate the complexities of migration, resilience, and belonging.
This all-ages event is free and open to the public. Copies of Migrant Heart and other works by Reyna Grande will be available for purchase onsite in both English and Spanish. Doors open at 4 pm and the author conversation begins at 4:30 pm.
