Bring the whole family for a special bilingual storytelling adventure along the San Joaquin River! Middle schoolers and high schoolers are invited to experience a retelling of La Llorona with City of Fresno Poet Laureate Aideed Medina and Fresno County Youth Poet Laureate Evy Singh.

This storytelling is inspired by Gloria Anzaldúa’s Prietita and the Ghost Woman / Prietita y La Llorona. This story features a different take on the legendary La Llorona you might know and takes you on a nature adventure! After the cuento, there will be a guided walk along the San Joaquin River!
