South Tower Community Land Trustwill host the 4th Annual Queer Housing Summit on August 21–22, 2026, at Fresno City College’s Old Administration Building. The Queer Housing Summit is a space dedicated to learning about the experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals related to housing in our community. It is a place to build shared understanding, access resources, and collaborate on building an actionable vision for safe & affirming housing for all, led by radical Queer joy.
This year’s theme, “Over the Borderline,” explores how queer and trans communities build connection, safety, and collective power beyond the systems and barriers that divide us. At a time of growing displacement and attacks on our communities, we continue to affirm that housing, dignity, and joy are human rights.
Keynotes for this year will be Dr. Amber Alton, writer and thinker with a sociology PhD and Mercury Stardust, The Trans Handy Ma'am.
For the first time, the Summit will be a two-day convening featuring keynote speakers, panels, workshops, art, and opportunities to connect with organizers, advocates, artists, students, and community members.
The Queer Housing Summit is hosted by South Tower Community Land Trust, Fresno City College Social Justice Center, Housing Now!, Youth Leadership Institute, Gender Alchemy, and Casita Feliz!
Ticket Admission is valid for both days for the following prices: Regular Admission: $35, Student and Elders (60+): $20
