Join Fresno’s Poet Laureate, Aideed Medina, and award-winning writer, Laura Schulkind, at the Fresno Arts Council Gallery on October 19th from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM for a live poetry reading around the concept of natural spaces and rivers!

Aideed Medina is a Pushcart Prize-nominated poet, award-winning spoken word artist, and playwright. She is also a California Naturalist and practices flor y canto as part of her poetic process and exploration of California's natural history. Her work has appeared in several anthologies and literary journals, and she is the author of 31 Hummingbird by Editorial Xingao.

Laura Schulkind is a Finishing Line Press Author, Curator for Central Coast Poetry Spaces, Special Projects Docent of Tor House, and a poetry workshop presenter of Ekphrastic Poetry at Monterey Art Museum.
