The Fresno Philharmonic continues its celebration of America at 250 with trumpet legend Jens Lindemann performing Wynton Marsalis’ virtuosic Trumpet Concerto. An icon in the worlds of both jazz and classical music, Wynton Marsalis is one of America’s greatest musical treasures as a performer, band leader, composer, educator and institution builder. This exciting opening concert also features Arturo Márquez’s La Conga del Fuego Nuevo and Stravinsky’s colorful ballet score Petrushka.
