October 9 & 10, 2026 at 7:00 PM
“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”- George Orwell, 1984. This 60 minute, live radio drama of George Orwell's 1984 depicts our protagonist, Winston Smith, in the totalitarian super-state, Oceania. A dystopian world defined by perpetual war, omnipresent government surveillance and pervasive propaganda, where one lives in fear of the Thought Police who persecute dissent or individuality. Smith rebels against The Party, enters into a forbidden relationship, and begins to remember what life once was.
