Technical Assistance
Workshops and Overall Guidance
The FAC provides technical assistance available to all artists and arts organization. Because each artists' needs varies, our Executive Director conducts personal meetings with artists of all types to assists them on a case by case basis. Also, FAC has ongoing technical assistance for inexperienced artists planning to exhibit their work at ArtHop or another venue.
In addition, FAC offers information workshops for the Community Enrichment Program grants application process as well as workshops for exhibitors interested in the Public Arts program such as The City Hall Exhibit.
Wireless and Computing Services
Our office is equipped with secure FREE wi-fi services that are available to the public. We also offer computing assistance to artists who are in need of such services.
Information Services
Mailing List
Our mailing list of 2,000 opt-in mail recipients is available to artsts and art organizations for sending out announcements and invitations, including the useage of our bulk mail permit rate.
FAC maintains and updates a list of over 1,500 e-mails for sending current arts and culture information. We also forward arts-related information to the media, the FAC listserve, Fresno Famous, Mindhub, Undercurrent, and the Creative Fresno, which extends our readership to over 5,000.
Internet Sites
The new online portal Fresno Arts Network website provides ArtHop information with a map to all locations in Downtown, Central and North Fresno, as well as the developing Downtown Clovis area. The ArtHop web pages contain information about current ArtHop exhibition and events.
Our new corporate site provides information on Grants Opportunities as well as an avenue to contact FAC for technical assistance. We also communicate with the community in a timely manner through Arts Connection, our blog and podcast webpage.
Newsletters
We currently provide an online e-newsletter that is sent to over 1,500 e-mail recipients every month to prepare the community for ArtHop offering as well as to provide them information on various Arts happenings around the area.
Resource Library
FAC's resource library, which is available to the public, is located in our office and provides a wide range of publications and includes, among others, grant writing and sources, exhibition opportunities and applications, technical assistance in finances, and aid in establishing festival and educational programs
