Grants and Workshops

The Fresno Arts Council's Community Enrichment Program (CEP) awards non-profit organizations in the City of Fresno whose primary purpose is to provide for the general enlightenment and entertainment of the public through the production, presentation, exhibition, advancement or preservation of art, music, theater, dance, history, literature, physical sciences, natural sciences, or natural history.

In September 2004, the FAC received $1,277,745.00 from tax initiative funds to grant to cultural organizations in Fresno City. This is an ongoing project until all the funds are dispersed. Depending on the amount of funds granted each year, it could be a 5 to 6 year project. FAC currently is monitoring 27 organizations that will receive a total of $324,270 during the 2006/2007 year.
