The Third Thursday ArtHop happens this week on January 21 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm in the Metropolitan area of Fresno, which includes everywhere except Downtown and the Tower District. This ArtHop is packed with 40 venues for the art enthusiasts pleasure. Several new locations have been added as you will see in the Fresno Arts Council’s new ArtHop brochure which is available.

Be sure to dress for comfort and for the weather to maximize your enjoyment.

The number of ArtHop venues has grown by 20% during the past year, specifically in the Palm Bluffs area. We would like to give special recognition to Hannah DeGroot of Realty Concepts and Donald Goodman from Strands Hair Salon for the grassroots effort they have made to build an ArtHop hub in that area.

The Fresno Arts Council website launch has been postponed to the first Thursday of February to give more time for more usability testing of the Arts Database Project. We promise to launch the platform which will make it easier for the artists and arts organizations here in Fresno to "get found".
